Information on aluminum 1050
1050 aluminum sheet belongs to the pure aluminum sheet series. The chemical composition and mechanical properties of 1060 aluminum are close to each other. The last two Arabic numerals of the 1050 series are 50, and according to the international grade naming principle, the aluminum content must reach 99.5% or more to be qualified products. China’s aluminum alloy technical standard (GB/T3880-2012) also clearly stipulates that the aluminum content of 1050 reaches 99.5%. Since it does not contain other metal elements, the production process is relatively single and the price is relatively cheap, so it is currently one of the most commonly used aluminum alloy numbers in the conventional industry. Industrial pure aluminum is characterized by a high plasticity, corrosion resistance, good electrical and thermal conductivity, but low strength and not strengthened by heat treatment.
