Stainless steel tube is typically specified by OD (outside diameter) WT (wall thickness), grade, condition and surface finish. It is resistant to many forms of corrosion, has hygienic sterile properties, high quality aesthetic appeal and exceptional strength. Tube is manufactured in round, sections in a variety of wall thicknesses and usually by the processes of longitudinal welding, hot and cold drawing spiral welding. Finishes or appearance range from unpolished to very highly polished. Unpolished has a 2B mill finish, standard polished is a finely grit polished finish and there is a finer buffed finish giving close to a mirror appearance. Finishes are selected to suit application and aesthetic appeal. Stainless steel tube can be joined by welding, which facilitates rigidity in construction, or by the use of mechanical fittings which enables dismantling for hygienic cleaning

STAINLESS STEEL WIRE ROPE GRIPS DIN 741
Manufactured from A2 AISI 304 marine grade stainless steel with a polished finish, these grips are capable of resisting corrosion and are a durable, long-term grip solution.

Available in 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 16mm, 19mm and 25mm diameters.

We recommend 3 stainless steel wire rope grips per end.

Please note these are sized on a like for like basis. If you are working with 3mm diameter wire rope, for example, adnd you wish to create a loop by threading two wires through the grip, a 3mm diameter wire rope grip will be sufficient for this.

Priced individually, please order the exact amount needed for your project.

Also known as Schedule 40 fittings, these have thicker walls than our thin-wall stainless steel unthreaded butt-weld fittings. They have beveled ends that, when flush to pipe, create a trough for a strong weld that permits maximum flow. For Use With: Air, Natural Gas, Oil, Water

Specifications Met: ASME B16.9, ASTM A403, MSS SP-43

Pipe Nipples and Pipe: Use Schedule 40 stainless steel

Flanges: Use Class 150 stainless steel
